I'm Lisa, the Venue Coordinator & Officiant here at Something Blue Mountain Venue. I am grateful for the love that unites each couple and the incredible gift of being able to perform ceremonies surrounded by the beautiful Blue Ridge Mtns. Celebrating & Uniting two individuals in marriage is an honor & dream come true.
HOUR 1+2
Couple and/or bridal party arrive and checks into the Dressing Room Suite and receives bouquet and boutonniere
Beautician arrives and sets up
Cake and Florals arrive/delivered
Venue Coordinator conducts a brief run through with Wedding party and couple (separately if not seeing each other prior to ceremony) about the flow of the ceremony like where to walk to, where to stand, music, rings and timing of ceremony etc.
Bluetooth with preferred music set-up
Final setup for ceremony seating and outdoor decor
Couple makes final dress and accessory adjustments
Photographer and other event vendors arrive and set up
Hour 3
Photographer begins "Before Photos"
Guests Arrive
First Look photos (if desired)
Couples exchange Private Vows before ceremony (if desired)
Announcement for Guests to all be seated
Music begins
20 minutes - Hour 1
Wedding Party / Couple line up to walk
Bride entrance
Ceremony (usually lasts about 10-15 minutes)
First Introduction of Couple
Celebration & Mingling
Group photos with Guests
Hour 4
Bubbly Toast
First Dance
Beverage and Snack Area open
Lawn Games
Couples Only photography sessions around property
usually takes about 45 minutes.
Guests socialize and enjoy the views

Final 10 -15 Minutes:
Farewell Photography - Bubbles or Sparklers celebration with Couple
Guest Departure

For the Couple Only Package (less than 4 guests)
Couple has more one-on-one photography time

Duties of the VENUE COORDINATOR
-Email and Phone Correspondences
-Concierge Service (offering referrals
for local vendors and travel)
-Pre-Event Coordinating and Planning
-Directing Pre-Ceremony Schedule
-Be Available during hours of Event
-Assist Guests
-Assisting in Dressing Rooms
-Welcome and Inform Guests
-Direct Parking and Seating
-Spot cleaning and disinfecting
-Set up ceremony site (chairs,
music, wedding Arbor etc.)
-Coordinate deliveries
-Order cake and flowers
-Coordinate with photographer and beautician
Thorough sanitizing methods according to the CDC are performed prior, during and after each booked reservation.
