Our greatest chance of snow is usually in January. It's cold and calm. The skies are clear and the air is crisp.
Snow Covered Blue Ridge Mountains looks so still in the winter. We often see the snow without getting much.
Our elevation of 1760 feet keeps our temperatures rather mild compared to higher elevations.
